Llegu\u00e9 a Vietnam por primera vez en 2019 despu\u00e9s de pasar el dengue en Camboya. No era el mejor contexto para enamorarse de un pa\u00eds y como era de esperar, Vietnam no me dijo gran cosa. Estuve tres d\u00edas y me fui convencido de que aquello no ten\u00eda mucho que ofrecerme. Unos meses despu\u00e9s decid\u00ed volver para darle una segunda oportunidad al pa\u00eds, por pura intuici\u00f3n. Result\u00f3 ser una de las mejores decisiones de viaje que he tomado, lo cual demuestra que a veces conviene desconfiar de las primeras impresiones. Desde entonces he vuelto cada a\u00f1o, hasta convertir Vietnam actualmente en uno de mis lugares principales de residencia, donde paso buena parte del a\u00f1o instalado en Ho Chi Minh City, y desde donde aprovecho para seguir recorriendo el pa\u00eds por dentro, con m\u00e1s calma y bastante menos fiebre.
