autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They set about restoring the pagoda <strong>in a Chinese style typical of the era<\/strong> that has endured to this day, turning it into an architectural icon of <a href=\"https:\/\/viajarvietnam.com\/en\/hoi-an\/\">Hoi An&#8217;s old town<\/a> \u2014 a UNESCO World Heritage Site and today one of the most visited places in the city.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"inside_the_fujian_assembly_hall\"><\/span>Inside the Fujian Assembly Hall<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The interior of the Fujian Assembly Hall is packed with all kinds of statues, mostly decorative elements rich in animals, including mythical creatures such as the unicorn (a symbol of wisdom) and the phoenix (representing nobility). Add to that a temple dedicated to Thien Hau, goddess of the sea and protector of sailors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Inside you&#8217;ll also find sculptures of the heads of the six families from Fujian<\/strong> who built the Assembly Hall, having fled China after the fall of the Ming dynasty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"how_to_get_to_the_fujian_assembly_hall_in_hoi_an\"><\/span>How to get to the Fujian Assembly Hall in Hoi An<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It&#8217;s <strong>located in the center of Hoi An&#8217;s old town<\/strong>, so you can easily reach it on foot or by bicycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Fujian Assembly Hall is open daily from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Entry is included with the <a href=\"https:\/\/viajarvietnam.com\/en\/hoi-an\/hoi-an-old-quarter-ticket\/\">Hoi An Old Quarter Ticket<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/embed?pb=!1m14!1m8!1m3!1d15350.407950819052!2d108.3305658!3d15.8775027!3m2!1i1024!2i768!4f13.1!3m3!1m2!1s0x0%3A0xeb30287015a0138b!2sAssembly%20Hall%20Of%20Fujian%20Chinese!5e0!3m2!1sen!2sus!4v1611316431141!5m2!1sen!2sus\" style=\"border:0;\" allowfullscreen=\"\" aria-hidden=\"false\" tabindex=\"0\" width=\"100%\" height=\"450\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>One of the main places you can visit in Hoi An&#8216;s old town is the Fujian Assembly Hall.
