Two of the most curious and most photographed places in Da Lat are the Crazy House and the Maze Bar. Different in concept but very similar in spirit, both have become genuine icons of the city.
The Crazy House is also one of the most unusual places you can sleep in Da Lat.
Its architecture is pure madness: impossible staircases, passageways, bridges, irregular rooms and bold colors, in a design that doesn’t go unnoticed from any angle.
It was built in the late 1990s by architect Dang Viet Nga, and today it’s one of the most surreal and best-known hotels in the city.
Rooms start from 1,040,000 VND (~US$40), although you don’t need to stay overnight to walk through it. That’s precisely why it has become one of the most visited places in Da Lat.
